The HeartSine samaritan PAD 350P is a semi-automatic AED with simple two-button operation. Clear visual indicators and voice prompts guide the responder through electrode placement, CPR, rhythm analysis, and shock delivery, helping make the response process easier to follow during a stressful cardiac emergency.

Weighing approximately 1.08 kg, the HeartSine samaritan PAD is designed to be highly portable and easy to store where space is limited, including offices, vehicles, aircraft, and public-access locations. HeartSine's proprietary electrode system works with SCOPE™ biphasic technology, an escalating low-energy waveform that automatically adjusts to differences in patient impedance. Pad-Pak™ System

One of the practical features of the HeartSine system is its Pad-Pak design, which combines the AED's battery and electrode pads into a single replaceable cartridge. This helps simplify maintenance because the primary consumable components can be replaced together rather than being managed separately.

For pediatric response, a dedicated Pediatric-Pak is available for children between approximately 1 and 8 years old or weighing up to 55 lb (25 kg). 

IP56 Protection

The HeartSine samaritan PAD 350P carries an IP56 rating, giving it strong protection against dust and water. This makes the AED suitable for workplaces, industrial facilities, vehicles, recreation settings, and other locations where emergency equipment may be exposed to challenging conditions. 

Semi-Automatic Shock Delivery

Unlike a fully automatic AED, the HeartSine samaritan PAD 350P keeps the responder involved in the final step of defibrillation. After analyzing the patient's heart rhythm, the AED determines whether a shock is advised and instructs the responder to press the illuminated SHOCK button. This combines automatic rhythm analysis with deliberate responder control.

Important Product Notice

Stryker issued a recall notice in June 2025 affecting a subset of HeartSine samaritan PAD 350P, 360P, 450P and 500P units with certain serial numbers due to a manufacturing issue that could potentially affect device function. This does not mean every 350P is affected, but purchasers or current owners should verify the serial number against Stryker's recall information.
