How long is the certification valid?

Your Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid certification is valid for 3 years.

What is the difference between Emergency First Aid and Standard First Aid?

Thank you

"I just wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the Emergency First Aid course I recently completed. The training was not only informative and well-structured, but also delivered with great clarity and professionalism.
The instructor was truly exceptional both in their teaching method and in their respectful, supportive attitude throughout the course. They created a comfortable and engaging learning environment, and their real-life examples helped make the material much easier to understand and remember.
I feel much more confident in my ability to respond to emergency situations, and Im very grateful for the knowledge and skills Ive gained.

Thank you again for such a valuable experience."

Val was great!

"I took the Emergency First Aid blended course and had Val as an instructor. Val was really great!!!! They were very engaging and had high energy. I really liked how much hands-on participation was required because it helped me build up confidence for my knowledge. I felt really supported by Val and had a great experience. We were told that we would have a multiple choice test assessment at the end of the course but I wasn't too nervous about it because everything was explained to us clearly and in a way that helped us remember. Thank you!"

Hello Val + Pacific First Aid Management & Staff!

Thank you for the course offering, EFA-C that I attended on 23April2025.

Val was very knowledgeable, thorough and truly ensured we have clear grasp or understanding of EFA in our own capacities at work or for the organizations we belong to. She made sure we will pass the exam and were quipped with the necessary skills in preparation for emergencies. Tho she said she ain't an artist, her drawings were easy to picture/imagine and the concepts pertinent to the heart, lungs, etc were clear. She didn't use technology such as slides and such but her descriptions + illustrations were clear basis for understanding.

The office location maybe quite unexpected esp in view of big trucks running and causing vibration to the whole office bldg while the course was in progress. But the course content delivery and instructor was superb in providing me a refresher after maybe a decade since my last trng!
