The Teaching Experience Supervisor (TES) certification allows qualified CRC Instructors to supervise Instructor Candidates during their teaching experience and complete Skills Evaluations for them. 


Skills Evaluation & Prerequisites

Before beginning the certification process, candidates must complete a skills evaluation and verify that all prerequisites are met.

Skills Evaluation Requirement

Candidates may either bring a completed Skills Evaluation Form / Skills Checklist or complete a Private Skills Evaluation with our team.

  • First Aid skills will be verified
  • Skills checklist or evaluation form must be completed / reviewed

Prerequisites

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid CRC Instructor Certification (discipline specific)

After verification is complete, you will receive access to the online course materials. You will have 60 days to complete the certification requirements.


Fundamentals of Instruction

The Fundamentals of Instruction - Teaching Experience
Supervisor component introduces the core principles of effective instruction, evaluation, and feedback when supervising Instructor Candidates.

  • Duration: Approximately 2–4 hours

Certification

Once the online training is successfully completed, you will receive your Teaching Experience Supervisor (TES) certification and may begin supervising Instructor Candidates during their teaching experience.
