CPR & AED Training
Our CPR & AED certification course in Vancouver teaches essential skills to respond to cardiac emergencies, choking, and life-threatening situations. Training follows the latest CPR guidelines and includes hands-on practice using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Choose between Level A (adult CPR) or Level C (adult, child, and infant CPR).
Course Options
CPR/AED Level A
- Adult CPR and AED training
- Duration: 4 hours in-class OR 2 hours in-class + 3 hours online
- Core Skills:
- Check, Call, Care
- Recovery position & choking – adult
- Assisting with medications, angina, heart attack, stroke
- Deadly bleeding
- CPR and AED use – adult
CPR/AED Level C
- Adult, child, and infant CPR & AED
- Duration: 5 hours in-class OR 3 hours in-class + 3 hours online
- Includes all Level A content plus:
- Choking – child and infant
- CPR – child and infant
- Opioid poisoning awareness
- Expanded emergency response skills
Level C is comprehensive and includes all Level A skills.
Completion Requirements
- Successfully demonstrate all required skills and critical steps
- Minimum 75% mark on written knowledge evaluation
- Attend and participate in 100% of the course
Certification
Participants receive a 3-year certification in CPR/AED Level A or Level C upon successful completion.
Recertification
- CPR/AED Level C: 3.5 hours in-class OR 2.5 hours in-class + 2 hours online
- Level A recertification is not available through the Red Cross
