Fit Test Details
Duration:
Most fit tests are completed within 20 minutes for up to 7 people together. Additional time is needed if multiple respirator models are tested on the same person.

Before Your Test:
- No eating, drinking, or smoking at least 30 minutes before testing
- Must be clean-shaven where the respirator seals against the face (no stubble)
What to Bring
To save time and get your fit test done faster, please bring a printed and completed copy of the Respirator Fit Screening Form for each person being tested.
If you don’t have a copy, printed forms are also available on-site to fill out.
If you want testing for a respirator model not listed in the “What’s Included” box, please bring that respirator with you.
Certificate
You will receive a fit test certificate showing your tested respirator model and test date upon completion. Fit tests are typically valid for 1–2 years, depending on workplace requirements and current guidelines.
