Psychological First Aid Caring For Others (Digital Course)
In the Psychological First Aid – Caring for Others course, learn how to recognize when a person is in distress and how to offer help without judgement or assumptions. Psychological First Aid is about taking care of yourself and then being there for family and friends when they are having difficulty coping.
This course is for anyone looking to develop the skills to help others cope with stress while also developing self-care practices to promote their own psychological wellbeing. This may include professional responders, people in the workplace, and youth (must be 14 years of age and older, adult support recommended for younger audiences).
Busy schedule? Learn at your own pace by working through the training materials independently online. The course takes about 90 minutes to complete, but with as many breaks as you like can be comfortably completed during lunch breaks or on the go.
