Emergency First Aid With Basic Life Support
On March 31, 2019, Basic Life Support (BLS) replaced CPR HCP as the paramedical industry standard for professional CPR training and performance.
Emergency First Aid with Basic Life Support is designed for in-facility care providers (nursing staff, care aides, medical and dental professionals) and pre-hospital care providers (fire service, rescue team, sports-medicine, lifeguard, and ski patrol).
This course combines comprehensive first aid training and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for professionals working in a team environment. Course participants will be trained in performing rapid assessment and rapid defibrillation with automated external defibrillator.
