Job Title: Warehouse Associate 

Weekly Hours: 37.5 (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday) 

Wage: $ 18 - $21 

POSITION OVERVIEW 

Pacific First Aid is partnered with the Canadian Red Cross to serve you in your first aid certification needs. Pacific First Aid specializes in private group training sessions at our own facility or at yours. We also carry a wide variety of First Aid supplies and engage with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and present suitable product or service solutions. We focus on practical skills that prepare you for any major or minor emergencies that you may encounter in your daily life. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Coordinate and work closely with internal departments for the smoothness of daily operations; 
  • Ensure stock flow accuracy and stock locations are timely and properly recorded; 
  • Liaise with external and internal parties in daily stock handling operations; 
  • Rationalize the layout and management of the warehouse, plan the storage space and adjust the position; 
  • Execute daily pick and pack order, and monitor order completion progress; 
  • Pack and build kits; 
  • Reduce the dead stock and optimal routing of stock picking; 
  • Work with online retail platforms; 
  • Support the Management to set up guidelines and redesign workflow for continuous improvement in efficient operation; 
  • Responsible for the safety and protection of goods and personnel in the warehouse; 
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 

  • High school diploma 
  • Fluency in English 
  • Ability to lift/carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds, climb ladders without assistance 
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
  • Analytical and detail-minded with decent problem-solving skills 
  • Comfortable working in a cooler environment 
  • Good command of MS office 
  • Previous warehouse experience as an asset 

ADDITIONAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE  

  • Ability to operate a powered pallet jack and/or forklift 
  • Previous experience in a produce related field or wholesale field as an asset 
  • Fluency in second language is an asset

Job Title: First Aid Instructor

Weekly Hours: Part-Time / Flexible Hours (Weekdays & Weekends)

POSITION OVERVIEW 

Pacific First Aid is proud to partner with the Canadian Red Cross in delivering high-quality First Aid & CPR training. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced First Aid Instructor to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring that participants gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations. If you're passionate about teaching and helping others, we’d love to hear from you! 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver Core Canadian Red Cross courses in accordance with current standards 
  • Ensure training materials and techniques are current, relevant, and engaging 
  • Pick up and return training equipment to the office before and after course delivery 
  • Provide learner-centered instruction, encouraging participation and critical thinking 
  • Supervise and support learners throughout the course 
  • Evaluate participant performance in First Aid and CPR skills 
  • Maintain accurate records, including participant information, paperwork, and knowledge test results 
  • Use interactive teaching methods and practical demonstrations to enhance learning

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Weekly Hours: 37.5 (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday) 

POSITION OVERVIEW 

We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s market presence. This role involves developing and executing strategies to generate leads, nurture client relationships, and achieve long-term revenue goals. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Implementing strategies to optimize sales and customer satisfaction. 
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in various sectors, including corporate clients, healthcare facilities, schools, government agencies, and other organizations needing first aid training and supplies. 
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term retention. 
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals, including forecasting, cold calling, product demonstrations, and closing sales. 
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities. 
  • Cooperating with various departments to ensure smooth delivery of training courses and timely fulfillment of orders. 
  • Providing regular reports to the CEO on sales activities. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, customer service or a related role, ideally in the health & safety, training, or medical products sector 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field (preferred) 
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook 
  • Fluency in English 

REQUIRED SKILLS 

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines 
  • Analytical and detail-minded with decent problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work within a “team first” environment, and complete common goals within time sensitive deadlines

  • Knowledge in QuickBooks and SkuVault 
  • Fluency in second language is an asset 

PAY: $46,800 to $50,700 annually (37.5 hours a week) plus Commission
