This course is designed for people interested in learning cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children and infants depending on the level of CPR course chosen.
Course participants will also be trained on the guidelines and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
CPR C & AED is also offered in a Blended Learning course format. Blended Learning courses are composed of an online component that runs for about half of the regular course duration.
The online component covers first aid theory topics and can be completed in segments or all at once but must be completed prior to attending the in-person component. The in-person course component will cover all necessary practical first aid training topics.
Blended Learning courses are convenient for students with busy schedules or those that prefer less in-person classroom time.
There is no pre-requisites for the CPR & AED courses.
